We are "La Mona Ilustre". A theater company whose members have different origins, backgrounds and nationalities. It´s been already ten years of dedication, in which these differences have been combining and shifting towards a common goal: to tell stories. Today we are presenting four plays: Los Peces No Vuelan (The fish do not fly) (2009), Las Cosas También Tienen Mamá (Things also have a mother) (2012) ,Juan Salvador Tramoya (2012), La Niña de Canterville (The Canterville Girl) (2015) and "Malè, theatre concert for all size people"(2018). All of them created with love, respect, perseverance, and hard work.In our shows we try to speak about the human being, their weaknesses, their miseries, their hidden treasures. We believe that theater is a very good way to deal with things that interest us and move us. Stories which are simple, popular, everyday, hopeful and characterized by careful and playful visuals, a strong gestural contribution with manipulation of objects and puppets, and a narrating image, in harmony with the content presented. We are 8 people who make the company. We are "La Mona Ilustre".
